Our school, located in Ma On Shan, was established in 2009 at Lake Silver with an initial enrollment of 210 students. Over time, the demand for quality education grew, resulting in our current capacity of 350 students. We are supported by a team of 10 full-time teachers and 17 educational assistants, offering a total of seven morning and afternoon classes.
Aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme curriculum, our school embraces the innovative Reggio Emilia approach to education. Our learning environment showcases natural materials, such as logs, stones, cones, shells, and other open-ended resources, emphasising the beauty of the world in children's learning experiences.
With two refurbishments completed, our school features a garden and a kitchen specially designed for three to five-year-olds. We believe that hands-on experiences like growing plants and cooking are essential for children's holistic development, fostering a sense of connection with the environment, health, and wellbeing.
Diversity and inclusion are core values of our school, where we cater to children with various learning needs. Our dedicated therapy centre provides professional support and specialised equipment for children with sensory and language requirements.
We offer a wide range of after-school activities, including language enrichment, playgroup sessions, drama, and sports. Additionally, we conduct practical workshops for parents and carers to deepen their understanding of our educational philosophy and child development, providing them opportunities to collaborate with teachers and enhance their parenting skills.
