The learning community sits at the heart of our philosophy; therefore, we aim to build strong relationships between staff, families and children. We believe that working in partnership with families creates the best opportunities for children and is key in providing a thriving environment where students can achieve and succeed.
Research suggests that parental involvement positively impacts children’s educational success, wellbeing, cognitive and social-emotional development, behaviour, academic achievement and attitudes such as self-esteem and motivation. Therefore, we aim to treat families as partners and experts in their children’s learning and wellbeing, and fully involve them in school life.
There are different ways families can engage with school life, such as through community events, our comprehensive volunteer programme, or by attending workshops and webinars.
